Everest Textile (Shanghai) Co., Ltd was founded in 1998. It was split from Far Eastern Industry (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. on November 1, 2006 and was established after that because of the different structure of upstream and downstream products and elasticity of production and marketing. Shanghai factory is one of the production bases of Everest Textile (Taiwan) Co., Ltd, while others in Thailand, North Carolina and Ethiopia.
The eco-industrial park in the factory covers more than 90% of grass planting area and more than 150 species of terrestrial plants. Its rich biodiversity which helps clean the air and reduce heat radiation, while employees and nearby residents can also benefit from a greener living environment. In the factory, there are natural lighting, natural ventilation of fresh air, base water retention, storage and infiltration square as well as landscape pool. The resources recycling system helps to reduce water waste and greenhouse gas emissions, which not only protects the environment and meets corporate social responsibility, but also makes the supply chain and brands to create a win-win business model.
