Everest Technology Research Center

The Everest Technology Research Center is a nationally accredited research center approved by the Ministry of Economic Affairs, R.O.C. Since its establishment in 2003, it has been dedicated to research and development in core technologies such as functional fiber, functional finished and nanoscale textile technology. The center focuses on rapid market entry, fast production, quick monetization, and prompt response to customer demands to drive changes in business operation models and enhance competitiveness.

The functional Yarn and Composite Materials Team

The focus is on the development and production of functional polyester yarn, manufacturing small quantities of customized specifications, various irregular cross-sectional fibers, and high-performance polyurethane (PU) materials. We are also engaged in the development of environmentally friendly yarns using recycled materials and a series of flame-retardant workwear products.

Everest's capabilities in printing include paper printing, digital printing, and reflective printing. Post-Processing and Critical Processes Team

Utilizing coating and lamination techniques, we have ventured into functional PU film and PU synthetic core technology expertise. We develop a variety of functional film products, combining them with advanced post-processing techniques. This allows us to enhance fabrics with various functionalities such as water repellency, antibacterial properties, odor resistance, mosquito repellency, waterproofing, and breathability.

Sustainable Development Team

Administer

Responsible for overseeing projects related to brand certification and external sustainability assessments, as well as integrating data for sustainability ratings. This includes compiling and publishing the annual ESG report. Collaborating on research and development projects such as wastewater treatment methods, establishment of wastewater recycling UF-RO technology, specialized treatment techniques for chemicals, development of limited substance analysis methods, and execution of product analysis experiments. These initiatives aim to assist the company in operating smoothly in the realms of sustainability and ecological innovation.

Research & Development

It embodies the Lean Startup concept, focusing on connecting with the market, customers, and the industry chain to create products that customers genuinely want to buy, rather than merely conducting research.

The department is well-equipped with various tools and machinery, including the largest sample room in Taiwan, to swiftly meet customer sample requests and maintain a stock of popular best-selling products for expanded market presence. Everest R&D follows LEAN Startup principles, using MVP (Minimum Viable Product) to quickly launch innovative products. They gather customer feedback, make adjustments, and rapidly expand into different markets, embodying the steps of practical innovation: "Think big, start small, move fast."
