Caring for remote areas: Businesses support after-school care

To provide students with a supportive learning and care environment after school, several local enterprises in Shanshang District have jointly donated to support the Shanshang Elementary School After-School Care Program.  　　

In recent years, Shanshang Elementary School has actively promoted after-school care services. However, as a small rural school, its resources are limited. Upon learning of the school’s needs, many local companies stepped forward to help, including Hsingnan Foundry, Aeon Motor, Jianfeng Precision Industry, Xingyue Construction, Everest Textile, Lifeng Well Enterprise, Yitian Industry, Jiacheng Industry, Maohong Electric, Pinshan, Quanxing Recycling, Bingdian Air Conditioning, Huashong Packaging, Yongqi Hardware, Jin Xiang Yuan, Alexrims Technology, Mingji Industry, Senba Electric, Hanlin Engineering, Senfu Civil Engineering, Jinfusheng, among others, as well as Ms. Chen Huijing and Mr. Wu Chenghong.Together, they contributed a total of NT$1.18 million to cover teachers’ hourly wages, teaching materials, and activity expenses needed for the program. This support enables the school to continue providing comprehensive after-school care for students from low-income, disadvantaged, and other families in need, thereby promoting equal learning opportunities.
