Everest Textile Honored with the “Silver Award for Excellence in Resource Recycling – Source Management Category,” Demonstrating Its Commitment to Green Manufacturing and Circular Sustainability

In response to the global movement toward net-zero transformation and the circular economy, Everest Textile has taken concrete actions to advance green manufacturing and resource circulation management. At the 8th Resource Recycling Excellence Awards organized by the Resource Circulation Administration of the Ministry of Environment, Everest was honored with the Silver Award in the Source Management Category.

The award ceremony was held on October 31, where Director General Lai Ying-ying of the Resource Circulation Administration personally presented the award, recognizing Everest long-standing dedication and innovative achievements in promoting circular economy practices within the textile industry.

Everest has long upheld the philosophy of waste reduction at the source and building a sustainable value chain, implementing initiatives that include environmentally friendly material selection, energy-efficient production, and waste reduction measures. Beginning at the raw material stage, the company integrates green design thinking, promoting recycled polyester reuse, low-carbon dyeing and finishing technologies, and water recycling systems—effectively reducing environmental impact while enhancing product value.

In addition, Everest has actively established a resource circulation management system to reuse process by-products, supported by data-driven management and supply chain collaboration. Through a holistic approach of reduction, regeneration, and reuse, the company exemplifies how the textile industry can move toward a truly circular economy.

Everest stated that this recognition is not only an affirmation of its sustainability efforts but also a testament to the company’s firm commitment to addressing global climate challenges and environmental responsibilities. Looking ahead, Everest will continue to strengthen source management, expand the use of recycled materials, and integrate innovative technology with green design—driving sustainable transformation across the entire textile product life cycle and realizing its vision of zero waste through circular resource management.     According to the Ministry of Environment, this year’s Resource Recycling Excellence Awards were divided into three categories: Source Management, Innovative Application, and Resource Circulation. After a rigorous selection process, 28 outstanding companies were recognized. Everest Silver Award highlights its innovative thinking and sustainability-driven actions, showcasing Taiwan’s strong industrial capability in green transformation and circular resource management.
