Everest Textile proudly clinches the 2023 Taiwan Sustainable Action Award - Smart Net Zero Factory Gold Award.

In recognition of active efforts across industries to implement the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, the Taiwan Sustainable Action Awards (TSAA) for 2023, organized by the Taiwan Institute of Sustainable Energy (TAISE), saw rigorous scrutiny. With a total of 185 participating entities and 321 entries, Everest Textile made its debut and stood out, being honored with the Smart Net Zero Factory - Gold Award.
Everest Textile has taken proactive measures in sustainable actions, setting an early roadmap for carbon reduction. It is actively working towards achieving net-zero emissions by 2050, demonstrating a commitment to tangible results. The company continues to innovate, creating green and low-carbon operational models to make sustainability (ESG) a core aspect of its business. Everest Textile showcases significant resilience and innovation, establishing itself as a sustainability leader. The company adopts green industrial processes, incorporates Industry 4.0 principles, and engages in long-term energy and water conservation efforts, resulting in a 53% reduction in electricity consumption and a 60% reduction in water usage per revenue. With an annual saving of 92% in air conditioning electricity, Everest Textile significantly reduces carbon emissions, actively contributing to environmental conservation efforts.

Everest Textile leverages intelligent AI technology in conjunction with a dashboard for real-time monitoring to enhance production efficiency. In collaboration with the Industrial Technology Research Institute, they have developed a smart grid, enabling each department to clearly understand its electricity consumption. Through the implementation of equipment insulation and waste heat recovery systems, Everest Textile effectively reduces heat energy loss in the dyeing process. Additionally, by applying the principle of heat exchange, they maximize the reuse of waste heat in hot water, showcasing optimal resource conservation. Moreover, Everest Textile has initiated the Everest Sustainable 3.0 Plan to achieve the net-zero goal by 2050.
